about tafca
 
"tafca" is brand of textile product established in 2008 based in Tokyo by Shimizu/Designer, Miyazaki/Press, and Enomoto/Planning. "tafca" is a term of an archaic Japanese meaning, dance and step to the music.

tafca's textile is designed based on abstract paintings of a life style. When we launched our brand in the beginning, we started from selling clothing and accessories. Currently we are approaching beyond apparel by offering our design, and collaborating with the other companies.


Designer/Reiko Shimizu
 
Reiko Shimizu was born in Shizuoka in 1980 and grew up in Tokyo. After graduating from Bunka Womenf s University in 2002, she became a member of the Creative Fashion Department to be engaged in abstract paintings. In 2006, she held her own art exhibition at GALERIE SOL in Tokyo, Ginza. Her interest and creative activities expanded into fashion, which have lead to the foundation of her original textile brand, gtafcah in 2008. Her offer, gThe company retreat would be in Hawaii.h was a good enough reason for Pam Miyazaki to join the brand afterwards.


Press / Pam Miyazaki
 
Pam Miyazaki was born in Hokkaido in 1982 and grew up in Tokyo. After graduating from Bunka Fashion College in 2000, she worked for fashion company and later went to Canada to study English. Upon her return to Japan in 2007, she worked in overseas trading and buying, and has since joined gtafcah being involved in marketing and planning.


Planning/Kazuya Enomoto
 
Kazuya Enomoto was born and grew up in Tokyo in 1981.He has been to Thailand to learn English but he out of nowhere, yearn for Ra-men and came back home.He was caught up by tafca, and he has been succeeded on his work as a planner at tafca. But after all, he never could get enough of Ra-men.
